Write or call before you come. We are not printing a street address, because we are not sure of it any more. The museum began in the composer’s own house. A report from 2018 says the house came down in the rebuilding of the capital and the collection moved to a building on the grounds of the Academy of Sciences. Nobody has confirmed that to us in writing, and an address we were guessing at would send someone across a city, or a continent, to the wrong door.

Everything else about a visit is arranged the way it always was, by asking.

Tell us when you would like to come and what you would like to see. Groups, students, researchers who need the manuscripts and anyone who wants to spend an hour with the instruments and the recordings all ask the same way. Ask about the opening hours while you are at it; the ones on the old site have not been checked in years.
